Edmonton Oilers win 3-2 over Vegas Golden Knights in gutsiest win of the year

The Edmonton Oilers pulled out a nail biter 3-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night in Sin City. The Oilers picked up goals from Jake Walman, Leon Draisaitl’s 53rd and one from Viktor Arvidsson. The Oilers picked up their first win of the regular season against the Golden Knights largely due to the team’s resilence and ability to withstand a prolonged Vegas onslaught down the back stretch of the final ten minutes of the game. Once again without Connor McDavid or Mattias Ekholm, it took an all hands on deck effort to come away with the win.

  1. Went to Vegas and survived against one of the best third period teams at home. Wasn't pretty but picks gets the 900 draisaitl gets 52 walman gets his first and things are on the up for the Oilers! Very encouraging heading to the playoffs. 2-0 in the final 10

  2. Mature win. We kinda beat them the way they beat us usually. Opportunistic, solid team D and a touch of luck. When our best player and best defensive defensemen is back we can do even better.

  4. Hard to gauge edm missing mcdavid and ekholm. Kane and federic n skinner. Lots of dynamic and varibles to add still. So harder to predict edm.

    Healthy Ekholm puts the d in order like pronger did for the 2006 team.

    Bouchard is money is the playoffs

    And we dont know how kane timing , swagger attitude affects the team. He seems out to prove something. Healthy nasty kane can add swagger toughness to the line up. both kane and federic add some speed on forecheck and nastiness fits in the line up. Their north south game wears down d in 7 games series .😮

    Skinner has a higher ceilikg than pickard. So if he can find his swagger and get on his hot streak n post .900 spct or better , edm has a better chance of getting a W.

  5. Podkholzin was a BEAST on the forechexk tonight and for past few games especially. He could score 5 goals per season and Id still love him for what he does. He has locked in and ready to fight for his spot on the roster. His stick is always out knees bent and hes anticipated plays with good taste.
    That Nuge pass to Draisaitl was SICKKKK..i cant aleep after the last months games..s
    Ps #74 his neck went 90 degrees when i saw in slow mo. He may be out on concussion peotol but it can be used on other issues too. I feel he may have a neck strain..can effect inner ear and theres your nerve bundles and blood vessels and a lot of muwcles and ligaments that can get aggravated..this is my daily life too and iriginally got injured from a baseball strike. I wish him well and hope its more precautionary. 🙏🏼

  6. Would be cool if u did a breakdown of Vegas avs Dallas Winnipeg n kings weakness. Seems like 4 of the 5 teams are ubbeatlable for edm. Why not critique them like EDM and exposed their weakness .

  8. After watching you on TV last night I went to sleep and dint wake up until 11am Mountain time I didn’t play and am so whopped. From excitement of our expected and triumph against at the Las Vegas Golden GIRLS 😂
