[PPGT] Après Ski | Avs @ Blues | The Not Enough Come Back Edition

Also known as the “fucking bullshit” edition. I hate when we win, except we actually lose
Sometimes hockey is a really dumb sport
I had a feeling it was gonna look like this after seeing the shots. St Louis came out firing and binner has been outstanding since 4 nations
It was a good effort at the end and got most of the right guys on the gamesheet. They’d win this series in playoffs.
I really loved the fight to get back in this game after going down by 4 – especially with the charge being lead by the bottom two lines.
Binner has been riding high on that Joboo magic since the 4 nations. Not gunna lie, I really hope we don’t face them in the playoffs. A hot goalie can steal a series that the team in front of them really deserves to lose.
Let’s be real, we legit have nothing to play for, just buying time until the playoffs, while also nursing some nagging injury’s. Drouin and Necas out, Val looked off (I didn’t even notice him until the third), Sammy out. I feel confident the boys will be dialed in come playoff time, and hopefully as healed up as they can be. Imagine the emotional upswing of the playoffs starting AND having Landy back on the bench. The boys WILL be ready to go!
I’m never one to blame refs, but they have been consistently terrible this season. Constantly inserting themselves into the game instead of calling it fairly. NHL reffing is an absolute joke right now.
Never a good sign to see your top D pair at the bottom of the pack 😬
