  1. Everybody better than Jalen Hurts til it’s time to be better then Jalen Hurts

I’m not here to share opinions, I’m here to read the wrong ones.

    E: I cracked

  3. Maybe once the season starts we’ll get something in this sub besides Eagles knob-slobbering.

  4. Remember how shitty Hurts looked before AJ Brown? Yeah, I’m sure that would look much better with Lamar’s receivers.

  5. I mean Jalen Hurts doesn’t have a final boss in the nfc named Patrick Mahomes. He’s in fact becoming the nfc’s final boss.

  6. Compare this again in two years. Lamar has turned into an even better passer the last two seasons throwing 65 TDs to 11 INT. Also has an MVP and could’ve easily been a second last year. 😂😂

  7. Hurts has an all time offensive line, two stud receivers and a great tight end, top five defense and oh yeah, Saquan Barkley. Hurts is also great but winning superbowls is more than just great qb play. If that were the case Burrow last season should have won it.

  8. I think the super team around him has helped a lot.
And he still has a losing record against the cowboys 😉

  9. Eagles fan, love Hurts but the second pic is wrong. In the first Super Bowl against the Chiefs he had the fumble returned for a TD and in the second he threw a pick. That’s two right there.

  10. Maybe it’s because he’s behind one of the most consistently great Olines in football or the fact that he’s got two great receivers and a really good tight end and he had Barkley this past year and the players and the scheme on the other side of the ball are pretty fucking good. Philly’s roster was (probably still is) absolutely stacked, Jalen Hurts can drive that car pretty damn well but would he be able to carry an offense like Josh Allen and Lamar have been asked to do?

  11. Jalen has been that dude since Alabama. I don’t know him from anyone else, but he never changed after getting benched. Simply went on with his life and played at a high level somewhere else.

  12. where are interceptions, rush yards, and completion percentage? or MVPs? and what does this look like, say, past 2 instead of past 5 years? I know I’m taking a meme too seriously but so is the rest of the thread

  13. Kenny Pickett has also been to more superbowl than all of those quarterbacks. What’s your point?

  14. It’s fair to point the stats out but I also think it’s fair to look at what each team asks of their player. Guys like Lamar and Josh Allen are really asked to carry their team week in and week out and are surrounded by far less talent than some QBs. The chances of their team winning if they have a bad game is minimal which is why they’re in the MVP discussion each year. Hurts on the other hand was put in situations throughout the playoffs where, as long as he didn’t turn over the football, they’d be fine. Not taking away from Hurts being a great player I think it just helps to be surrounded by a great o line, defense, receivers and Saquon.

  15. That last slide would be a lot more meaningful if the Chiefs hadn’t gone to the SB in 5 of the 6 past seasons.

  16. I mean if the Eagles didn’t win the Super Bowl they’d be in the same level for me

  17. I love how the 3rd pick mentions 4 AFC QBs. Like there is a *very* good reason those 4 QBs have not been to as many Super Bowls in the past 5 years and it’s called the Chiefs.

  18. Every single time Lamar Jackson touches the football, we are bound to see something we have never seen before on a football field. This dude is easily the most entertaining QB I have ever witnessed, along with completely taking over many games. On the flip side, I never recall any Jalen Hurts plays that had me in awe. Not one. I watch almost every Eagles game, and he has yet to look like a top 10 QB.

  19. What’s with the constant posts about Hurts? Why are eagles fans so insecure?

  20. I’m a huge hurts fan but to not include rushing when talking about Lamar is super shitty.

Also hurts has more turnovers than stated

  21. Jalen is going to be the most underrated 4+ time superbowl champ once his career is over

  22. Look at who Hurts was throwing to, and look at who Lamar was throwing to. This is propaganda.

  23. Some teams win because of their quarterback, some teams win in spite of them. My eyeballs, regardless of any useless stats you throw at me, tell me Jalen Hurts lies somewhere in between.
