Way to go Chicago! A win today and a 4 point buffer ahead of the Sharks with 6 Sharks games left to play. The Sharks could have the best chance to get at least the #2 pick.
One thing that will help is having Wennberg back in his 3rd line center role next year. That would mean that the Sharks need to figure out their 2nd line center situation out by next year.
JD, thanks for lowering the music break which was damaging my computer speakers! Keep up the good work!
Wtf Graf a nhl player
Another great episode JD, thank you. I cannot wait until this offseason starts and the Cuda post season begins!
I love your nickname of "The Fireworks Factory" for Cherynshov. It will be very interesting to see what they do with him and Musty (once they are on the squad). What a great problem to have with all the young forward talent.
Bystedt, Cardwell, Chernyshov, Bords, Gush, and Musty to name the main characters that we will get to see in the coming weeks. And then there is Asky and Carriere. Not to mention Cags, Furlong, Landen and Noah on the blueline!
It will only get better when they add Graf to that group in about two weeks. As well as Carlsson, Schult, and Thompson. Hopefully Muk can recover and be ready for camp next season.
Thanks also for the update on Axel Landen. You described him exactly as his scouting report did when he was drafted. If he can develop into a steady third line defensive RD then again GMMG can add yet another 2023 draft pick as a win.
Even if he heads back to the SHL after he playoffs this will be valuable experience so he can know what he needs to do to prep for the North American Pro game. My hope is he sticks and is on the Cuda next season.
As you mentioned, having a solid defensive bottom pair of Axel and Jake would be really cool.
To think he had his 2023 4th and 2023 5th round picks both playing for the Cuda. Maybe Pohlkamp goes pro and then he has all picks from the 4th and 5th round of the 2023 draft going pro this season! That would be sweet!
Lastly I have a question. GMMG stated he expected to have Mattais Havelid come over to play for the Cuda in his post TDL presser. Any news on Havelid? Not sure if his team is still playing.
Thanks! 🙂
