I don’t like myself that I’m starting to really like Trouba
He’s right and it’s good that some of the players have this notion. PVB and Cronin should have it too if the team is going to get any better.
100% right. Love that Trouba has higher standards. This team is likely missing the playoffs next year again unless Verbeek signs some fucking players and changes the coaching staff. Mediocre improvements year-to-year don’t mean much. Just look at Buffalo since the last time they made the playoffs, they have fluctuated in points every year (ranging from 37 to 91) and not made the playoffs in any of those 14 years
Honestly he’s right! And I think that’s the kind of mindset the team needs to have. Wish it would’ve come from one of the veterans that’s been with the team for longer but at least it shows that Trouba knows the team still isn’t sniffing where it needs to be. BUT that also shouldn’t discount the fact that the team has made some huge strides compared to last season.

Unfortunately we’ll be under 500 and it’s another year without a ticket to the dance.
