I’m going to give Fields the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s low-key insulting the reporter asking the question by using the word “rhetorical”. Like, “dude, this question shouldn’t even have to be answered. I AM the starting QB for the Jets.”
A rhetorical question is one that doesnβt need answered because everyone already knows the answer. Them asking how he would feel if they took a QB could be seen as rhetorical because the honest and obvious answer would be βnot greatβ. No need for him to answer the question because we already know the answer right?
That’s why it says Jets behind him. His comprehension skills are Lvl 70 on Madden
