  1. The Dodgers always get smacked on that first east coast trip in April. Something about LA teams playing in the cold.

    On the bright side, a few less walks and dumb defensive errors and they sweep the Phillies. Those are easy to clean up.

  9. Harris looks like he's going hunting on a lifeboat from a virtual-golf cruise that sank (which would explain why he didn't have time to grab his socks).

    Way too early for nail-biting/hair-pulling over Dodgers. Ohtani always ramps up through All-Star Break, then sags, then has a late Kick that bumps all his numbers towards the Top of the League.

    Snell having slow start…. Well, that's why you have Dustin May. Plus Ohtani'll be back on the hill before you know it.

    Yamamoto tracing Optimal Arc of improvement/progression in the Big Leagues; in fact, he's Ahead of Schedule; Roki pretty much the same (though seemingly more accelerated).

    Kike's being Kike: BA in the cellar – but tied with Ohtani for team HR lead; coming through at key moments.

    Everyone else (Teoscar, Betts, Muncy, et al.) about right where they alaways are at this juncture.

  10. A big question is, can Pages hit enough to offset his below-average defense and baserunning? Kim is at OKC hitting well, baserunning well, and playing some in CF, so…

  11. Really enjoy Dodger Debate. If this is new, keep doing them! 😂I see a lot of mechanical problems on the field. Some of this is because old players in new, or newer, positions. It’s early so there’s time for them to get this sorted out. Sort it out SOON, though. Cannot be having these kinds of issues come August and September! The team needs to be a well oiled machine by then!!!

  16. The funniest thing (or most ironic) about Trump's comments was his inability to pronounce Treinen's name—Treinen, his most overt supporter on the team.

  17. Not having any of the current starting pitchers last more than 5 innings will be setting up the bullpen pitchers for injuries, which would be a big problem later in the season.

  18. Dodgers have glaring defensive weaknesses. The Giants and the Padres are playing excellent baseball. Dodgers need to address this asap if they want to stay on par with those teams.
