15. Sam Howell had his chance to step up last year when Geno went down and he bombed it. I get Howell was a back-up but he should know that as a back up you only get a few chances to proof you can be that QB a team can count on and Howell did not do that. Drew killed with the Eagles and what game to remember.

16. I predicted in this space yesterday that the Seahawks will never draft a quarterback in this year’s draft. I’m even more convinced of this than ever with this signing. Drew Lock is Schneider’s guy to become the quarterback of the future for the Seahawks, if Darnold falls flat this season. Even if the Seahawks try to trade or release Sam Howell, there’s not a quarterback in this draft that Schneider will like enough to waste a high draft choice on.

23. I hate to say sam howell got a bad game to show what he can do. Greenbay was killing geno smith. And geno went out the game, and sam howell cam into a burning building with a gasoline backpack on. So I believe it was not a fair way to judge howells game play. When we the hawks offesiveline was getting torched the whole game before sam howell entered into the game.

25. Drew Lock is a great QB2. Howell isnt terrible, but he just doesnt seem to be progressing. I think Lock for sure beats him out for the 2nd spot.
