I posted tickets for sale at face value
Because I bought too many… apparently the new Mods don’t actually want fans in the seats.

  1. But yet they all come into Oakland sub and cry and talk shit. I just laugh that subreddit will be dead halfway through next season. And forsure when the stadium slowly starts to go up in Vegas and they realize the As aren’t staying in their shitty city where they can’t even fill up a minor league park

  2. “For ticket buying and selling please use r/SacramentoTixExchange

This sub is not to mitigate selling as it can lead to scams please use r/SacramentoTixExchange future threads will continue to be removed.”

This was just posted. I think it’s fair.
Probably didn’t have to Ban you though

  3. Sidenote: the tickets were $15. Not trying to make any money off anyone. Paid $12.50 and was willing to accept $10 for them.

  4. 10,048 average attendance for the first 9 home games in Sacramento.

Not one of these 9 games was truly sold out with hundreds if not over a thousand empty seats too for damn near every “home” game.

6 of those 9 games came against the Cubs and Mets who have pretty sizable fan bases nationally. The other 3 against a Padres team who has the best record in baseball right now with a 13-3 record, 3.5 games better than the team with the second best record.

The highest attended game was opening night vs the Cubs with 12,119. The lowest was 9,018 vs the Padres.

That 12k showing opening night is still the only game with 12k in attendance in Sacramento so far.

Heck the A’s second largest attended home game is 10,553 so the team can’t even get over 11k in the 9 games since after opening night.

4 of the first 9 home games have draw less than 10k.

So again maybe bad attendance wasn’t an A’s fan issue or an Oakland issue after all.

If this is Sacramento’s chance to prove to the sports world that they can pack their AAA minor league park to show MLB they deserve the A’s if Vegas falls thru or to receive an expansion franchise. They’re not doing a good job with it so far through the first couple of weeks.

Also once some of this “newness” wears off of having a MLB team temporarily playing there, future crowds will only get worse the following seasons. That’s if the A’s even decide to play in Sacramento through the 2027 season which I don’t think is a given or lock at this point.

Again not to “shame” Sacramento sports fans but this lack of support the A’s have received for decades squarely goes on the shoulders of cheap s****y ownership.

  5. I got a ban from the Texas rangers page because I said I didn’t like the light blue uniforms

  6. A’s aren’t even my team. I’m just trying to show support for the local team. The team that averages less than 10k fans per night. But yes. Let’s ban people who are trying to get fans out to the minor league stadium that they play in. What a joke.

  7. I’ve pushed it on some of my comments over there but haven’t been banned yet. I’m forever an Oakland A’s fan. Not Sacramento, Vegas, KC or Philly.

  8. Look I feel for you, some of these Reddit moderators are a holes plain and simple!
The same thing happened to me on the Scream chat it hurts, this is why frankly I think the whole Reddit system in its entirety is unfair stupid and unjust.

Actually, sometimes when I think about it, I wonder why I Reddit has been banned or gone out of business. Like I said, I’ve been there, I’m a huge Scream fan especially Scream 5 and 6, I find it, disappointing and upsetting that one individual the( moderator) has the power to eliminate me from talking about one of the subjects that I love the most.

Honestly, that’s why most Reddit moderators act like their Gods, because you have an unfair and unjust system that allows them to act that way.
As I said the system, it’s entirety is unfair, when it’s not the moderators acting like God, then it’s another Redditor pulling the same nonsense trying to get you banned simply because you said one thing that they don’t agree with.
I know somebody will put in print if you don’t like the Reddit system then just don’t participate, typically someone says something stupid like that, but that’s beside the point. The point is Reddit has a broken system from top to bottom and they refuse to change it. That’s the problem not one individual that you ban from a topic this system needs to change.

  9. They’ll be dead in a year. Those sac mods are shit. Don’t know why they even try. Willingy signing up to be played.

  10. Between the soft ass mods on r/SacramentoAthletics and epic levels of bitterness on this subreddit, I almost want to be an A’s fan.
