  2. Last year, the Cubs would've hit that lead off triple in the 9th, failed to score, then given up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th before we could blink.
    This Cub team so far IS indeed different. And so much fun to watch! Go Cubs!

  6. Just a really good vibe so far. Wasn't easy to temper the disappointment from Tokyo, but this team is eating through the hardest part of their schedule with a winning record, topping several offensive and defensive metrics, AND we get to look forward to one of the easiest remaining schedules once we get through the next 4 series or so. Great way to perservere despite the horrible news today. Seiya is okay, Kelly's MRI came back negative, our bullpen is solidifying. Good momentum, I hope the lads stay hungry. We're on a mission from God.

Happ(less) back to his old "streak hitting" ways takes another 0 for 5 at lead off…even with his 3 for 4 on Saturday he's just 8 for his last 62 AB's, no home runs, no stolen bases, 3 rbi…time to at least give Pete-Crow a shot at lead off…ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with this "smug, know it all manager" who refuses to try him out… it defies logic that they have one of the fastest players in the bigs and he's not at the top of the line up where he has the "very real" potential of igniting the offense from the get!!… their 1st inning offensive output is pathetic…thanks to a .208 avg….564 ops at lead off…Happ is not a lead off hitter….PERIOD!! Bat him second behind PC!…they'd make a great tandem!…what could it hurt to at least try it! PC would be leading off for any other team he'd be playing for…no doubt about it!

  14. 9:45 Since 2018, the Brewers are easily #1 on the hatred hierarchy for me, especially now that they have an extra reason to hate us since we have Craig and they want to pretend like their good years that he led them to never happened.
