Pete Alonso and Juan Soto each homered but the rest of the Mets lineup went quiet in a 6-3 loss to the Twins. Francisco Lindor had a particularly rough night, making a costly error leading to a Twins’ run and going 0-for-2 with runners in scoring position including the final out of the game.

We lost because of Lindor, but I'm glad to see Soto smile for the first time. I hope he keeps hitting better.

Mendoza needs to tweak his lineup. What's wrong with this guy. He needs to move Marte and acuna down in the lineup, insert and move Winker or Vientos before Soto.
