  35. As someone who rooted for dirk his entire career and adopted the Mavs as my second favorite team, this really saddens me. What he meant to the city and that franchise is hard to describe, and the new owners just threw that all away.

    I even think of the Mavs great broadcast team and their connection to him. They must feel so deflated after all of this. And of course nico’s wildly tone deaf comment about the fans not mattering. Can’t make this shit up.
