    Yes, if the Miami Heat beat Atlanta they will lose their 2025 draft pick. However, the protections will be lifted for their 2026 and 2028 first-round draft pick. If the Miami Heat lose to Atlanta they will keep their 2025 draft pick and have Golden State Warriors 2025 draft pick but, they're 2026 and 2028 first-round draft picks go unprotected to Oklahoma and Charlotte with previous trades they made. So, if you don't make the playoffs you can still package multiple first-round draft picks for a Kevin Durant or maybe even another player. It's really all about perspective. I've been a Miami Heat fan since 1995 and I run what I feel is a almost successful Miami Heat channel so I have done as much research as I can and the answer is whether the Heat win or lose the next game it's still beneficial for them
