  1. I don’t care if Hess is pitching again Saint Mary’s School of the Blind and Deaf these stats are still terrific.

  2. Remember when he was picked and people were whining about his college ERA? Someone pull up the thread.

  3. 🎶Well, we’re moving’ on up (movin’ on up)

    To Somerset (movin’ on up)

To a rotation spot in double-A

Moving’ on up (movin’ on up)🎵

  4. Pretty much all our pitching prospects from the MLB pipeline top 30 Yankees prospects are pitching well:

    Hess

Schlitter (1.69 ERA and 12K in 10.2 innings pitched)

Gage Ziehl (only 1 start, but 4.2 inning of 0 run ball)

Lagrange (has a poor 1st start, but 9k in 6 innings of 2 hit, 2 run ball 2 days ago)

Kyler Carr (8.2 innings, 1 earned run)

Griffin Herring (10.1 innings, 0 earned runs)

All the other guys are either injured or haven’t pitched yet, except Bryce Cunningham (last year’s 2nd rounder, who had a good 1st game but had 2nd) and Elmer Rodriguez -Cruz, the guy we got from the Red Sox for Carlos Narvaez (had a solid 2nd start but not great 1st).

  5. Will they actually develop and try to bring these guys up? They always hype these prospects so much and just trade them. I would love some more home grown talent that’s hyped up besides Dominguez

  6. Ben Hess is my guy and I really hope he has success in the majors. Its not that often I see people from my college make it to the MLB, normally they’re just going to the NFL lol

  7. I’m old enough to know not to get too hyped up about Yankees pitching prospects
