  1. Drew Lock’s contract for two years is less than Trey Lance makes in this season for Chargers.

    Sam Howell is better than Trey Lance. Just in case b, maybe Cheer up a bit.

  4. There is some aspects that Schneider has said that I believe like howell was put into a tough situation last season. If there's teams interested in howell then they must not care that much🤷‍♂️.

    If we are gonna write him off for what a poor performance at training camp and a poor performance in one game that he didn't even play the whole game to me isn't fair. I'm not gonna excuse his performance but I'm not gonna write him off over a terrible game that we were already losing in and a poor training camp. I personally think trading him is the best move for him as he's gonna have a hard time being a starter in Seattle. The vikings were in on him last year wont be shocked if they are in on him again. The saints and steelers both need QB's so they could be in the mix as well.

  7. When are teams going to learn that when a team trades a QB that has starting experience and is on a rookie contract that it's a huge red flag? Sam Howell, Mac Jones, Trey Lance. At least the 49ers were smart about it and asked Lance to say he's demanding a trade, to make other teams believe the team really wishes they could keep him. I don't remember, did Sam Howell request a trade or did the Commanders basically say "we think this guy is awful and we'll take whatever draft pick some idiot GM is willing to part with"? And then John Schneider enters the room.

  8. Sam Howell looked like a fringe starting QB his 2nd season, then got traded to Hawks for some reason. What’s to say he couldn’t be a high end backup for another team with better QB coaching? We got buried for trading Geno (previous “bust”), then signed Darnold after a great season (former “bust”), why wouldn’t Howell have a chance? 2026 6th?

  9. I really hope Sam gets a chance somewhere. I’m not saying he’s gonna become a starter in the league, but he has potential…and if he can work out some kinks get with the right QB coach, somebody like a Dave Canales, who knows…he might end up being able to turn out to be something like a Baker Mayfield.
