1. Chris Drury is the bigger problem.

   If it was to be believed Drury was at fault for the Rangers's problems this season, he should have been the one turfed out instead of Laviolette.

11. Drury turned the locker room against management, Goodroe, Truba, Kreider, Lindgren, a different coach might have been able to use this anger as a means to unify the locker room. Laviolette failed misreably, Drury should go too. Take Cashman & Scheon with ya.

12. The next "right decision" would be letting this GM follow the coaches out the door.
    Let a new team management decide which players become leaders and which are traded for whatever they will bring.

17. What a joke. Fire Drury. Stop letting these bums (players) off the hook. How many coaches do you want to go through? Not a SINGLE trade that Drury made worked, why is he still here? That guy is a complete joke and should be fired.

18. The Post has been running cover for Drury forever. He is the main culprit. Terrible trades, signings, and culture under his helm. Not to mention very poor asset management, but that extends to pretty much every GM in Rangers History.

19. They let Trouba and Lindgren go, and the defense got worse. Then they extend contracts to the players who are on the defense that got worse. And Drury stays? WTF.

20. If Drury does leave I think someone like Jamie Pushor or Jason Botterill will get consideration. Even maybe Mike Futa.
    That hire will dictate what type of coach the Blueshirts get. I could see Jay Woodcroft get another opportunity and Todd Nelson as well. I feel like even Joe Sacco will get an interview. Not sure if they get any marquee coaches.

31. Yes, Laviolette had to go, but there are other issues. I'm sick and tired of going through coaches every two years because of players quitting. Many coaches may be turned off by that, and it may limit our options. Drury should go too! He sabotaged this season and hired Gallant and Laviolette, who are now both gone! Players who quit also need to be launched out of a cannon!

32. How do you move Kakko, Chytil, Lindgren, Trouba, Smith, Mancini plus a no.1 pick and get nothing but a 32 year old Miller and a couple of bottom pair Dmen… That is HoF level incompetency.

33. Lavi had to go because he lost the team. The main reason he lost the team was due to Drury’s stupidity incompetence and just being an all around scumbag. I guess Jimmy Dolan is impressed with the fat kid who won the little league World Series. What else could it be? Chubby Chris came to the Rangers as a free agent and was a miserable failure. He shanked JD and Gorton to get the job and again failed miserably. How many coaches is pizza boy allowed to fire before Jimmy 420 realizes he’s the problem? The amount of money that this nitwit has stolen from the Rangers as physically out of shape free agent and a mentally out of shape GM is ridiculous. Nothing will change until this creep is gone.
