For those of us that don't let DJ's time here slide like it never happened. I still feel he counts on this list because even though he got that terrible second contract from us. He was still absent from the field for a major part of the two years he played under it, his performances were pretty much a standard of "sub-par" out the QB position and then dude asked for his own release from the team because he inevitably got benched for his poor play, after all the shuffling around the team had done the many years in support of him and his play.
It seems awfully convenient for the G-Men to white-wash him from the record books when he probably was one of the most damaging to the team financial wise with over $90M in guaranteed monies.

Every year this comes up. And every year we talk about how pathetic and long our list is.
The only one that has my sympathy on this list if Flip Wilson. I don’t remember the guys before that but you saw he was going to be a good player.
That QB Lee Grosscup pick in 1959 really set us back. We didn’t win another championship until 1986.
At least Travis hunter fixes 2 missing pieces.
Really excited for this draft to be over.
As bad as Jones was we found out he was better than Cutlets and Lock. He wasn’t benched for poor play as much as to make sure he didn’t get injured and kick in contract guarantees.
That doesn’t mean he wasn’t benched for a good pick – he wasn’t at 6th.
Prediction. Danny Dimes will win the starting job and take the Colts to the playoffs next year(and will look good doing it).
Cedric Jones was picked 5th overall and was blind in one eye
Well, we’re talking about ever, as in 100 years… So I can see some recency bias, might make it seem like he was one of the worst, I’m pretty sure in the total history there was much worse.
How is David Wilson on this list and not Ron Dayne?
Ron Dayne would be my pick. The guy would just run directly into the line and fall down every time.
Wilson being on this list is not fair, he was explosive when he played and his career ended because of a freak injury, not to mention he was the last pick in the first round, that pick is usually good teams taking a shot in the dark on a position of need, doesn’t always work out, it’s not like he was a top 10 pick. Not a single person thinks of him negatively, which to me is kind of an unofficial criteria to be considered a bust. Everyone else? Yeah they belong… at least the ones in my lifetime, no idea about a qb from 1959…

Rocky Thompson look em up! 18th overall, wasn’t even his real name
David Wilson making this list and no Ereck Flowers is crazy smh whoever made this list is tripping
Ereck Flowers ?
>don’t expect to see cornerbacks Eli Apple or Ereck Flowers on this list.
