  1. This guy has NOT watched Mtl vs Chi… 3rd period was inexistant for the Habs. They wer playing like they were already in. If they wanna win, which they could, they have to put the metal to the metal and break loose

The Habs, as much as I believe they have better goaltending in Sam Montembeault and Jakub Dobeš than the Canucks this season had in Kevin Lankinen, Thatcher Demko and Arturs Šilovs (TBD if Nikita Tolopilo, who played in two games very late this regular season, will be a relatively competent backup), likely will be in tough against a Capitals’ team that’s loaded with star power including Ovi.

  17. I've been watching the NHL since the late 70's. If there is one thing I have learned in all that time, it is that there is no such thing as an "unrealistic upset" or an "impossible upset". We've seen it over and over again, 8 seeds beating 1 seeds…Columbus ousted the record-breaking Tampa Bay team just a few years ago. If Montreal can get a split in Washington, look out when they get back to Montreal.

  25. The main question is: how is this matchup different from the 2010 one? 2010 was won by the Habs because in part of Halak, and in part of the Caps' individualism… other than that, I don't remember the 2010 matchup very clearly.

  34. Id be concerned for Montreal putting such small young rookie D lik hutson in the playoffs against a huge team loke the caps. Dudes gonna get hurt, probably injured
