The #chicagocubs nearly pulled off the series sweep against the #arizonadiamondbacks, but #joshnaylor proved to be too much in extra innings. A rain delay early nearly ended both starting pitchers days, but both were able to come back and pitch well. #jamesontaillon pitched 5 strong innings for the #cubs, but for the first time in the series, there just wasn’t much offense. #michaelbusch had an early RBI for the Cubs before Naylor added the first of his 2 to tie.

The Cubs get tomorrow off before a brief two game series against the #losangelesdodgers begins on Tuesday.

  3. Rough giving Nico the error on such a bad throw from Wicks. It was definitely a much tougher play than the one Workman missed that got called a double a couple days ago.

  10. Eh losses will happen, it’s part of baseball. Cubs by far have had the hardest start of the schedule in the MLB and they are handling it like champs. After the start of the cubs schedule, the schedule for them is going to be much easier.
