While I’m happy, it’s still too damn early to be making posts like this.
Wait? But I read they were struggling and significant issues had been exposed. LA Times even said so. At the time they were in 3rd place in the division, so I guess that would make sense, except they also had the best record of any team in MLB not in their division.
Lol my Padres fan friend kept telling me to wait until they’ve played the same amount of games. Well, here we are 🤷🏻

I think we’ve played HORRIBLY. Entirely home-run reliant to win games, already started the rash of starting pitchers going down, bottom of the lineup is just a destitute void, defense has been extremely disappointing. Lots of horrible things.
The insane thing is, even with all of that said, we have the best record in baseball. Testament to how stacked this team is.
