Also Kawamura's pre-season assist highlight is the most viewed video this season and 4th most of all time on their account. Considering their social media activities, it is clear what the organization will do in this off-season. I'm happy to see them doing this stuff.

  5. I think it’s a lock that he gets a full contract next season. Realistically he’s the successor to Ja. Ideally, we trade Ja this offseason for Trae Young. Then we can start Young at SG and Yuki at PG. I’m also strongly considering adding Josh Hawkinson as he was the second-best scorer on the national Japan team. If we can that gives us a starting lineup of:

    Yuki/Trae/JJJ/Hawkinson/Edey

    Obviously, Bane would be moved to the bench to help that unit out more. I think we’d have a bit of a defensive problem, but I’m betting on Hawkinson’s upside here. There’s no question about it, Yuki is an international superstar, and he has shown he can be THE GUY at the highest level (Olympic Basketball).

  9. I, unironically, think Yuki could have success against OKC despite his size and defensive limitations. I mean fwiw, our normal lineup is are getting cooked anyway, right? I think it would be worth a shot throwing him out there for 5 min to see what he can accomplish when ja goes to the bench
