For over 5 years, Derek Shelton has shuffled the lineup each game. He has bided his time, waiting for the perfect moment to unleash the same lineup as the game before and cause utter confusion in the opponent. That moment is tonight.
Besides the otherworldly Trout and pretty good Ward, that is honestly a rather underwhelming lineup from the Halos. I hope yinzes will remember that it’s not just about spending money. It’s about knowing what the heck you’re doing in building a 40 man roster along with the rest of your organization. The Angels are one of those clubs that is rich and dumb. The Pirates are poor and dumb. The results are similar, but it took a whole lot more money for the Angels to get there than it did the Pirates. Just sayin’.
