  12. I know we are playing fantastic as a complete team but wow Edmonton doesn’t look the same at all as how we’ve seen them the past few years. This Kings team kinda feels like 2012 Kings in a way.

Oilers fan here to say (please don’t smite me) that I and I’m sure a lot of other people underestimated your guys team a lot, your guys are not only looking good enough to beat us but maybe even win the cup if they keep up this play, just wanted to say ggs to let y’all know not all of our fanbase consists of assholes.

  32. Love the Oilers coach interview and him coping saying LA hasn’t shown to be a team to create opportunities to score. They haven’t earned a goal and that the goals are a result of Oilers gift wrapping them opportunities.

  40. ESPN let.me down. I waited 45 mins to see Mark Messier comment.on the Kings and all I got was Scott Van Pelt summarizing game 2. Messier commented immediately after the Stars beat the Avs in OT tonight. What happened?

  41. Responding the way we did after they pulled within one early in the 3rd, that was something the Kings of the last 3 years couldn’t have done. This team is special.

  45. Scariest part of this series so far for Edmonton is that Kuemper hasn’t even played well, like we know he can.

    He’s stolen many a games for us this season. If he steals even one on the road, this series is over.

  47. Crazy how refs started actually calling penalties and Edmonton was still stupid enough to keep committing them.

  48. A few thoughts because I’m still so charged up and want to get them out.

    The fact that the Oilers started pushing for another comeback and we said not this time and shut it down shows we totally learned from Game 1. This team is coached well and built differently. Kept our foot all the way on the gas.

    I love how we’re keeping our composure and not instigating or overly retaliating when the Oilers start going into their act. Eventually they lose so much composure the refs have no choice but to start calling penalties and we make them pay for it.

    I’m so glad our ability to pour on goals from the regular season is translating to the playoffs. During the back to back seven goal weekend I was thinking great but I really hope we can do this against the Oilers and we have so far.

    We actually have Skinner rattled at this point. And them throwing Pickard out into the fire just to immediately get scored on may have hurt their confidence even more. Now we know we can score on both of them.

    Kopitar is still the damn man. Our captain took over in the 3rd this time. Reminded me of prime Kopitar in the playoffs.

    Also I’m just so happy we get to do this again. In the past the second home game of the Oilers series may have meant the end of the season. But we’ll be back baby. And I get to see all of you again.

    We know better than most fanbases that 2-0 or even 3-0 does not mean the end of the series. Oilers are going to come out fired up on Friday. But if we can fight through it and steal the momentum in their barn we can put them in big trouble.

  49. The sheer number of cheap shots, stupid penalties, and just the overall gunning for Q is disgraceful.

    And trying to make a priority out of taking the game puck….are you fucking kidding me?

    Talk about pussified. It’s taking playing the game the wrong way to new levels.
