  1. Can the David Hamilton experiment please be over? Not only is us a defensive downgrade, he’s an automatic out AND Campbell shouldn’t be playing CF.

  2. Zooming in on Campbell’s bat rolling on the ground as they announced the loss was pretty symbolic.

  3. If this is Crochet’s worst, I’ll take it. Hope he bounces back next game.

Also, Bregman is the fucking ruler of Fenway

  4. Someone NEEDS to get the conversation going about Fatse.

    Useless hitting coach.

Boston media is a bunch of pussies when it actually matters.

  5. I was worried we were getting too far from .500. Thankfully this team makes sure to deliver the mid.

  6. Lineup simply has to be better. Should have been able to salvage this one once Crochet settled in and the bullpen did its job.

Feels like 50% of all scoring came in a few blowout wins. It’s just been dreadful when we need a clutch hit, or to put together a string of quality ABs.

  7. This team is very frustrating.

    Easy outs, missing fastballs

Im wondering if the way Cora has been managing Crochet is impacting him…so many pitches in every outing…maybe the White Sox had an idea limiting somewhat…although I’m not saying they should limit him to the extent the white sox did.

Keep KC at 2B. Im wondering if the Mariners score that 2nd run on that wall ball if Ceddane was in Cf.

    *edit for autocorrect changing fastball.

  8. Man. I thought we were predicted to take the East. Not with those shitty bats.

  9. It’s very concerning that the opposing teams now throw Devers nothing but juice over the plate and he isn’t even close to it

  10. Popular new drinking game:

Every time Campbell throws his bat, take a shot.

  11. Cora is really starting to piss me off. There was no reason to put Campbell in CF and Hamilton at 2B in a rubber match. Campbell misplays the ball off the wall in the 1st inning that resulted in 2 runs being scored. Rafaela more than likely saves a run on that play.

They end up losing by 1 run.

Devers is also back to being ice cold and we are going to have a really hard time winning baseball games if he doesn’t hit.

  12. Devers still looks completely lost, and we’re simply not gonna win many games with him hitting like this

  13. The only people on the Red Sox that deserve their checks is the PR team that tricked us into thinking this team is a good ballclub. Game 27. 1/6 through the season. Another .500 team. They’ll have some moments, but ultimately they’re losers.

  14. Devers getting blown away by fastballs down Broadway is now worrisome. It’s not like teams are doing anything tricky to get him out, over and over.

  15. Sure the score is really close and we had a shot the whole time but look at their LOB number. They wasted a ton of opportunities it shouldn’t have been close at all, because our bats were once again ice cold. Not enough walks, way too many Ks, pitiful showing again in offense

  16. Last 3 years we knew we were mid but now that there’s expectations it makes the mid so much more frustrating.

  17. Won’t be very many times Crochet contributes directly to a loss. Shit happens – go have a good weekend in Cleveland

  18. I am pretty okay with dropping 2 of 3 close games to that team. Mainly we need to improve hitting with men on/RISP. We were 1-2 hits away from ties or better in both of these games. Get em next time for the season series!

  19. Should the Sox address the Raffy Devers situation? Maybe sit him a few games?

  20. People complaining about not hitting fastballs not knowing woo has probably the least hittable fastball in baseball

  21. dont get me wrong woo is a good pitcher but the amount of strikeouts this team is taking is absolutely unacceptable. cant expect to win getting struck out 12 times

  22. I understand it’s still early, but man I just want some excitement without caveats with the Sox. Not if we add this piece or so and so starts to get hot and etc etc THEN we might be good. It always feels like a few ifs away with this team for the last few years.
