I think it would be a nice gesture to a veteran of our team who has been through so much here and has been a big part of LA for some time.

  1. It also seems they will try on Saturday as well for those not going Friday. I’ll be at both so I’ll be sure to cheer on our boy

  2. This is so corny. It was great for Trea Turner because it hasn’t been done before. Now anyone struggling gets a standing ovation. Just don’t boo him. He will figure it out.

  3. I won’t be there but will be standing at home every at bat. I love the Muncy Munce.

  4. The idea is well meaning but this was Philly’s thing for Trea. That was special. Now every fanbase wants to do it for every slumping player. It’s become cringe, imho.

  5. This dude trying to be like Philly let’s just keep being good fans and let them work their shit out. If he keeps playing great D his hitting will come around before we know it.

  6. I mean if that scene of the fan cussing him out by the buses at Wrigley is real, it would be a great time to show him the city still has his back. He’s one of the longest current tenured dodgers, with tons of classic dodger moments. Would love nothing more for Max to catch fire and go off the rest of the year.
