  1. BS.

Charles Woodson compared Will Johnson to Patrick Surtain. Will was a freshman locking down elite college receivers and held Rome Odunze and Marvin Harrison Jr. to a 50% completion rate, and 1 INT. among the 2.

He’s very high IQ. Does everything right. He has some attitude and can get a little lazy. But if we really believe in our culture, those are all coaching issues that can be worked on. Nobody a week ago would even think Johnson would be on the board past 15-19.

Beane will be roasted forever if this doesn’t pan out. He’s still paying for Keon (who I never liked)

  2. With the way the board fell, thought this was a good pick — & I’m super critical of our front office particularly when it comes to Day 1. Now I’m praying the Bills do what it takes to move up tomorrow & secure Alfred Collins. Go Bills 🤙

  3. BB should already been on the phone and moved up to get Emmouri. Id be happy to have Emmouri/Bishop and Benford/Hairston secondary which would set them up for awhile

  4. I still think they should bring back rasul douglas for depth. He had a fantastic first year for us even tho last year was abysmal I think knowing the bad year he had, he's gonna be looking to come back strong. The potential is there. Him and tre could be important if CB or one of our corners goes down.

  5. I abseloutely Love this pick. He should have got taken earlier. Fast fast guy with high energy and super good instincts. The thing I love about him most is his make up speed. When he gets beat, he makes up for it with his speed.

  6. I love this pick… the kid is not only super talented but he’s got the enthusiasm and what stood out to me as very Buffalo and down to earth is that he was the first (and only one I saw) who didn’t come out blinged up with a gaudy waste of his signing bonus… he didn’t have any quarter of a million dollars chain on… just a tie and a great smile with that excitement. Welcome to Buffalo, Max… you’re gonna fit in perfectly and help make this defense just ridiculously good in the secondary.

  7. Lol I was wondering who that guy was who was dapping everyone up as they went by. Him and the guy in the green suit were congratulating everyone, it was awesome.

  8. I'm so on board with this pick. My analysis is very much in line with Chris' idea. Speed and patience equate to total game wrecker possibly. I'm very high on this choice.

Very surprised that the meat and potatoes guys outweighed the skilled players this year. It was maybe the most honest draft I can recall. I thought there may be multiple trades around 15, and it didn't happen. The fact that 2 TE's went top 15 along with 2 HB's top 20 in 2025 is a complete 180 of the past 25 years. I have positive vibes for Friday

  10. His current weight as a former athlete basically his size, 175 at 18 and 6' tall. He's in basketball to European football shape. 8-12 lbs of muscle might slow him down, but it's absolutely going to be needed. 185 if what I strive for at 47, 195 with his speed slightly diminished is still special.

  11. He's going to be all over the field. Always was going to be our pick. Buffalo Plus acted disappointed, they wanted Trey Amos at that pick. Nah. It was always going to be Hairston. Called it.

  12. what a great pick. we need to get ugly up front on day 2 and 3, but man… you've got some serious assets at CB now. Who has a better CB room than us right now? No One!
