  1. I made sure to capture the entire incident + sequence + reactions, so it took a bit longer.

Edit: hip* not gip >_> damn you long fingers for the typo

  2. Not a fan of Lu Dort at all and I *do* think he’s dirty. However I’m not sure what he could’ve done in this situation. Seems unintentional

  3. hate this for Ja, probably my favorite non-Buck in the league. Hope he’s back healthy and quick.

  4. Didn’t even do the “my bad bro”… just slowly walks away like no one would notice…

  5. This was so tough to watch. Really hope it’s not too bad and he can recover quickly.

  6. Dort stops, turns around, slips as he turns, and attempts to contest the shot while keeping his feet all in the span of a second. People think he was able to do all of that and make a conscious decision instead of just acting on instinct. Not to mention, he put his arms up to contest the shot while Ja was still on the ground

He attempted to play defense and slipped while Ja tried to dunk on him. Shit sucks, but there’s no fault here

  7. This doesn’t feel intentional at all. He’s slipping while turning around and tries to foul/swipe the ball away right before Ja takes off. Even if Dorts hands don’t go up, Ja is on a crash course with Dorts shoulder or head.

  8. I’ve never seen a comment thread so split. It’s like the perfect storm of Dort with his history of hard defensive/dirty plays and Ja with his history of trying to dunk on people. Can both be true here? I don’t know.

  9. Genuinely not taking history into account how could you possibly say this is a dirty play. Dort turns around slips and ja tries to dunk on him while he’s contesting the shot

  10. So is the defender supposed to just get out of the way any time Ja goes up for a dunk?

  11. This is becoming a trend. Super stars are going so hard for that poster dunk, they are negating their own safety. Responsible basketball is a thing. Respect it.

  12. This is just an unfortunate situation, don’t was already in front of ja and didn’t have time to move

  13. If anyone made a bad split second decision, it was Ja. He decides to try to jump over a guy who’s slipping and falling backwards.
