A Story

  1. I know it means nothing but shit like this warms my heart. These kids that grow up rooting for a team and then make it to the highest level and get to play for their childhood team is so fucking special. Getting into the NFL is already a special thing, getting drafted by and playing for your childhood NFL team is even sweeter. Playing for Philadelphia can be an incredibly challenging experience but it is also the most rewarding experience, I hope Jihaad comes ready to put in the work everyday. He knows what the expectations are, he also knows how beloved he will be if he reaches our expectations.

It’s not just players, seeing an old guy like Vic Fangio coaching for us (his childhood team) is a really special thing and it’s little shit like this that make sports so fun and special.

  2. This is tasty! I already understand the value of giving Fangio 4 LBs who can all play the run, rush the passer and cover. We’re only rushing four, but which four will always be a mystery to the offense. And then, him being a Birds fan aligns my heart with my head.

  3. Eagles low key letting you know they checked out your social media history before drafting you.

  4. It’s the “WE” that gets me! 🦅🐘🦅🐘🦅🐘🦅🐘😬😬😬😬😬

  5. Great talent, great attitude and he’s an eagles fan. Match made in heaven! Jihaad Campbell just sounds like a probowl name too!

  6. Love that we’re going after guys that were fans of the team beforehand. It’s awesome to see.

  7. Team culture is, like winning, determined by the players themselves. Jalen’s stoic swag, Smitty’s style, AJ’s humor, Mailata’s pipes, Exciting Whites, Saquon’s humble leadership, the standard is the standard, physicality, quads, etc, etc.

But a great football culture is impossible if it isn’t curated, cultivated and supported by the front office… and from the Luries to Howie to Nick to Dom, our front office is 100% *intentional* with the way they choose players that they believe will fit and add to our culture.

I love this team and this organization so much.
