I met Harmon super briefly during a work thing in Eugene before the season last year. Dude was incredibly down to earth and easy to talk to.

Cam Heyward unfortunately knows something about a parent who has had strokes, paralysis, and brain surgery.
He might be able to help Derrick in ways that don’t involve football.
I feel terrible for him. But now we know what the announce team will harp on during the game.
Making his momma proud. He about to make us all proud. I can’t wait for him to blast Jackson, Burrow, and Pickett (if he plays). I hope he lays them all out.

They talked on The Drive yesterday about how he used his NIL money to buy his mom a wheelchair accessible van after her stroke. And apparently over the years she’s had multiple brain surgeries and other issues. Hopefully the Stillers give him the time to take care of what he needs to take care of with his family. You only get one mom.
Feel for him, all his sound bites show he seems well adjusted and media trained. I am really happy with this pick; I won’t say optimistic about team but feels like a great start to the draft this year which is a positive
Get yourself good lines on both sides of the ball and that long term investment will pay off more than any other positions. Kid seems to have good moral character, priorities intact and is ready to learn. Couldn’t really ask for more.
None of that could be any less true had we gone with Shadeur…
