Just wanted to say that I quit alcohol two months ago and have found a new appreciation for not just the Cubs, but baseball in general, and I’m so happy I’m enjoying my newfound sobriety while watching this wonderful Cubs team this year. Hope to see them at Wrigley soon and not have to pay $16 for a beer.

  31. Finished work early so I could get to the gym and been rushing around trying to get home in time just to turn on the TV and see rain delay!

  32. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, so I was going to miss the first half of the game or so. But the delay means I’ll probably be home in time for the start! Good thing there’s a delay, right guys?

  37. What does Marquee do during a game delay? I remember back in the WGN days when there was a rain delay they would play an older cubs game from years past.

  39. Listening to The Score, and Counsell explained PCA’s place in the lineup. The placement gives PCA a good chance to go against left-handed pitching, and his numbers against lefties are really good.

  48. Missed a connecting flight to vacation because the first airplane just took the black box out and… forgot to put it back? And now the Cubs game is delayed so I can’t watch it at the airport. Not my day folks!
