  1. Look, I’m not calling for the Weeks era just yet, but Murph certainly isn’t pulling the right strings in a good chunk of these losses.

Edit: This is exactly what y’all were like with Counsell. He’d use ~~Chafin~~ Alexander to just piss away game after game and it’d only be the player’s fault. He’d pinch hit late game playing matchups EVERY TIME and work 1 out of 20 times and “dude’s playing 3D chess while everyone else playing checkers”.

He’s quoted as calling 4 run games a save opportunity like he’s some sort of big thinker then uses Payamps to piss away the 4 run leads in the 9th. Megill hasn’t pitched in 5 days? Better have struggling Hudson blow the game before using Megill.

I’m far from a doomer. I think these clubs have been built really well over the last decade+ (except for whatever the fuck our third base platoon was to start this year). But y’all act like “Obviously the MLB manager knows more than us so he can’t ever be wrong” is some sort of big-brained argument.

  2. As I said in the GT, I am so done with Capra. He should not even be on the 40 man I am sorry. Im not enjoying it so much that even I am willing to take Dunn over him any day of the week. He is the Winker of the 2025 season. He might get up around a .100 BA by season end… who knows.

Im not mad at this loss…. it just stinks that the offense is just… where the fuck is it? Cant buy a timely hit to save themselves.

    There is always tomorrow.

    See you degents tomorrow.

  3. Vinny gotta go. Nothing against the guy, I’m sure he’s a great dude but it’s time

  4. going to stress eat a Wendy’s Dave’s double and down a few Miller lites and forget that we just lost by a run in STL…fuck road trips and fuck the Cubs.

  5. So fucking glad that in the 9th inning down 1 run to our arch rivals we send up the amazing trio that is Collins, Capra and Durbin. You literally can not make this shit up. The 3 biggest scrubs on this team get an at bat with the game on the line.

  6. Is it possible to add the score and team records into the title of the post game thread?
