2. Our team has amazing starters in every spot on a football team except edge 2 thats why people are asking why we didnt grab an edge and its a valid point

Aiden was our Sack leader even though he was hurt week 6 so people are going to keep asking until we have a guy opposite hutch that can get more then 4 sacks a season ( then we had zadarius but we cut him to save 5 mil to spend most of that on davenport) common now I trust everything brad does except trying to prove us all wrong that we dont need a second edge…..

   Holmes has repeatedly said, "We'll draft the best player at that pick regardless of position"

   That means we're creating a team of top players. Instead of picking for need, which the lions did for 70 years and it never worked.

"We're not going to chase a position…" You had multiple edge rushers projected to be top 20 picks fall into your lap for BOTH of your first two picks and you passed both times. You keep saying best player available and it doesn't make sense. Mike Green was the best player available for both of your first two picks. Just ask Baltimore.

20. The problem is we are so used to get blue chips early in the draft and he absolutely crushed during the first 3. Now we’re picking late in the draft it’s much harder & doesn’t look as flashy.

Please 'draft' someone to remind HCDC & Company on a DAILY basis that when you lose in the postseason, your season is over. Lions' fans are tired of excuses and dumb play-calling in the postseason. 44. I understand drafting the best players available but if the Lion pick came up and the best available prospects were 3 straight Adam Vinatieri's would we draft 3 straight kickers? No edge rushers at all? There's no edge rusher in this class at all? I think BH has done a great job but he has also potentially had more draft capital than any GM over the previous 3 years.

45. To be fair the edge rusher with the most sacks in cfb was there at every single pick they’ve had so far. Not sure what else they would be looking for
