  1. Welp… I feel the same way I did in the 2023 Finals vs Denver and 2024 1st Round vs Boston.

**The other team is overwhelmingly more talented.** We can be scrappy, we can put up a good fight for a game or two (*as seen on Wednesday)*, but across a full series, we’re going to get our head caved in as you just can’t overcome that chasm.

Thank you Davion for showing out each game. Everybody else… back to the drawing board this offseason.

  2. Not surprised that we’re going to get swept or lose in 5 at best, just surprised at the complete lack of fight. We showed more fight last year vs a Celtics team that was better than this year’s Cavs.

The Magic and Grizzlies are clearly severely outmatched vs the Celtics and Thunder, but at least the Magic took one off the Celtics on their home court, and the Grizzlies were at least up 29 vs OKC before the Morant injury changed everything.

I just wanted to see us fight this series and we didn’t do that at all.

  3. Tyler Herro doesn’t need help.

    Tyler Herro IS, the help.

    We need a real star.

  4. I’m a Heat fan through and through. Through the toughest times and the greatest times I’ll be around. Unfortunately ‘unscary Terry’ and ‘Miami doesn’t run on Duncan’ being unplayable are this series biggest problems. They’re making big money and Spo can’t trust them, because they’re complete liabilities.

With that being said, Cavs are a very very good team and definitely a championship contender. Hats off to them! Can’t be a top team every year, we have to cut some loose ends this offseason and get a true starting PG and an elite SF somehow. Let’s Go Heat!!

  5. Best part about this series – who should be staying on this team, and who isn’t good enough/has to go.

  6. Garland out, Mitchell 13 points 4-14 from the field and they still gave us 40.

    What the fuck.

  7. No heart on either side. They didn’t want this game at all. No cutting, just standing in the corner to chuck the ball.

  8. I don’t want to hear anymore “just wait for Jovic to develop” or “get Ware more minutes” all through the offseason.

Front office needs to clean the roster out, put Herro and Bam in their best roles as 2nd/ 3rd options and get an actual legit 1st option with the cap space at a minimum.

  9. Heat culture is fully gone. The one player who embraces the “culture” is our most recent addition. Everyone else is soft af

  10. This is good. Pat will now see that this team is not enough against contending teams. If he got that lottery pick and still run the same roster next year, this team still seat at the same spot. Unless he still believes it’s enough and just a summer camp away to be more competitive again. It’s FO’s move now.

  11. I’ve been preaching it and they brought it up in the broadcast. We need players who can attack the paint and collapse defenses. Tyler is not quick enough, Davion is too small, Bam, Jovic, and Wiggins either don’t have the mentality / are contact averse or not a good enough handle.

  12. Getting embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs will hopefully finally teach this organization that today’s NBA is different than 10-20 years ago and you have to construct your team with an emphasis on length, athleticism, and three point shooter who aren’t traffic cones on defense. They need to stop trading picks for non star players as well. In order to trade for superstar players you need draft capital.

  13. It’s not the loss, it’s the way we lost.

First two games I wasn’t even mad. They’re a better team and we gave them a run for their money.

We just quit 6 minutes into the game today. Careless turnovers and the team playing at home down two games had 0 fight in them. Nobody went for a freaking loose ball, they won every single 50-50 play, got rebounds from worse positions.. It was just sad to see.

And the offense was just … I don’t even know what to say. Wiggins is a such a low iq player. Every play just dies in his hands. I wasn’t aware he was this bad really.

  14. We need to have a serious discussion as to why the FO valued next years picks over this years when we knew we were lottery bound already

  15. The Heat are the 10th seed for a reason, none of this is surprising. You can’t “culture” your way out of this. You need talent to win, we severely lack it and have for years now. Jimmy, Bam, Spo (and even Herro) can only do so much.

Heat fans deserve way better than this, idk why the Heat always get blown out at home. I think the Celtics did that to us last year too in the playoffs

  16. Idk if he is still injured or if he has been overhyped but Wiggins has not even come close to being a number 1 or 2 option.

I have also never seen Bam look this bad come playoff time. He is a non factor both ways right now. Idk if its a confidence issue or if he just doesnt care right now but it looks really bad.

I’m interested to see how they respond. If this team gets swept ugly like this then I expect something to happen in FA.

I’ll be honest this is the first year in a long time that idk where we go from here. Looks like we’re heading towards a rebuild rather than a retool

  17. I guess one positive thing is how far we are from competing at the highest level, great diff check and to rethink the off season, really no point to keep running it back with SPO trying to squeeze every ounce to reach the playoffs . Literally Cavs won this without their best players doing much.

  18. The lack of fight is so fucking frustrating. Davion is the only dude I saw put up some fight. Cavs are a better team, but they’re also laughing, having a great time and bullying us. Heat have no heart. Wiggins has zero effective offensive game. Same with Bam. They know he’s going to do shitty pump fakes and try to shoulder you. They abused Ware’s defense in the first half. They can abuse Herro. They can abuse Duncan. Just so many fucking holes to exploit.

  19. Be realistic for your sakes, 8th seed rarely beats 1st seed statistically. Just because they made it in 2023 doesn’t mean, their chances of beating 1 seed again are higher. The odds are still high especially with a powerful lineup with the Cavs.
I wouldn’t expect them to win against them, not with Jimmy or any catalyst superstar not in the current heat lineup

  20. Fuck it. Don’t trade Terry next year, he might be the tank commander we need. Get whatever assets you can out of Bam, Herro, and Wiggins.

Then let Rozier’s ass be out of the league come the start of 2026 while we hopefully have a top 10 pick to work with.

  21. We tried to tell yall. Blow it up. At this point idc if Riley retires. I want something to be excited about again instead of being mediocre every year like the dolphins

  22. Like I said, if we were gonna tank, this would have been the season for it.

At least the young guys got some playoff XP right?

  23. Yeah… We suck bro. No two ways about it. This is a lottery team in the playoffs because of effort. And effort is nice, but we’re up against a flat out better team. We really need to do some regrouping in the off-season. A handful of players need to leave, and we need to re-sign Mitchell. Idk what other moves we make, if we trade for Durant or what, but we can’t do anything close to running it back without substantial improvement
