The Colorado Avalanche snapped a five-game home losing streak in the playoffs (at Ball Arena) to the Dallas Stars with a 4-0 win in Game 4 on Saturday night in Denver.   3. If this Dallas team shows up for Game 5, they lose. This is a pathetic showing from a team with two days off. The defense has got to step up more, but so does Ott. Yes, the game could have had 8+ from the Avs if he didn't make those stops, but man, he has let in some goals that simply shouldn't have been in. This game was hard to watch in all honesty. The short hand goal was the tide turner of the game.

    I wore Avs color boxers and ate a brick of cheese and beans…that didn’t work either, but at least it made me miss most of the game

  7. Stars play their best, they win in OT, Avs play their best, Avs destroy the Stars, ee all know who is better.

    Also, Landeskog is out for three years, still has more playoffs points than Mikko 😂

  8. The Stars need Robo and Heiskanen back. It's a miracle honestly that Dallas has managed to win 2 games against a fully healthy Avs team without two of their key players.

    Should have been 7-0

    No energy breaking out or taking it into the offensive zone

    I’ve seen worse from the Stars, but I would give them a D effort and Otter a B+ effort

    Powerplay looked pathetic with a glimpse of chances when they drove the net

  12. Bednar is 100% correct that this could have been a sweep. Trying to pretend that isn't a reality is just being obtuse.

    Game 1 was not as close as everyone is pretending – the Avs dominated, especially at 5v5. The stars had 13 SOG at 5v5 in that game.
