Doc here. This is what happens when you rush players. With a DVT he needed to be at a MINIMUM 3 months of blood thinners (if we say it was a provoked clot). Came back after 2-3 weeks rushed timeline. He most likely had minimum ramp up then into the playoffs. His opposite leg most likely over compensating given more weakness in his other leg and now he tore his Achilles based off the initial step off. Poor medical team
Him coming back at all after the blood clots, “miracle” or not, was malpractice. Could’ve sat the rest of the summer and came back ready for next season and now is in doubt for all of next season. Giannis doomsday scenario rapidly approaching
