On today’s episode of Locked On Stars, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars joins the show and provides the latest Stars updates from practice at Ball Arena. Miro Heiskanen is a full participant in practice but still may not be available for game 4. Oscar Back got a day off and we’ll see if Mavrik Bourque checks back into the lineup to keep a fourth line rotation. Sam shares his thoughts through three games of the series and some of the chatter within each locker room heading into tomorrow. In the final segment, Joey compares some numbers between the Avalanche and Stars so far and individuals like Cody Ceci and Ilya Lybushkin on the blue line playing critical minutes for Dallas.

  2. I feel like we should let Miro rest still. We need him 100% or as close as he can be to it. We don’t want to rush him coming back. We’re doing good without him surprisingly. Let him rest.

  3. I’m eating my words. I’m one of the Avs in 5 I ashamed to say. But I’ll eat my crow and shut my mouth. They’ve done what I didn’t think they could. Turn it on in an instant when the severity calls for it. Seems like they love to mess with us lol and troll us almost

  6. What I see is mikko making plays that the other guys can't connect with on. They need more time to develop chemistry. He will have over 100 points next season and settled in with the line mates he's most effective with.

  7. Don't get too hyped. Stars have held a lead for only 1 minute and two seconds throughout all three games. Scoring twice in ot to win. A bounce here or there and it's the Avs with a 3 games to none lead in the series.

  8. We'll be a worse "TEAM" when Miro comes back, watch.

    Tommy is obviously our #1 Dman, even when Miro is fully 100%.

    Tommy is better offensively, obviously.

    What isn't quite as obvious is that Tommy is better defensively than Miro too.

    And if you pair Tommy with Miro they have awful chemistry and manage to make each other less than their best.

    The solution when Miro comes back is to pair him with BigChel, they will have GREAT chemistry.

    Don't saddle Tommy with Miro.

    Keep Tommy and Boosh together.

    Lindell and Ceci works great.
