NO, NO, and NO to Boeser, Marner, and Ekblad. Yes to Tavares for 2-3 years and Ehlers for 4, tops.
Jake allen and Askarov would make a great tandem 😮💨
I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing Vanacek back but I’m not sure he would be interested in returning.
Ekblad and either Brock Nelson or Boeser would be incredible pickups this offseason
Edit: I like Fabbro too!
Provorov and Gavrikov
What about a trade for Stamkos or Marchessult
Fabbro's a guy I've been eyeballing for months for the blue line. Another RHD I'd like–Perbix from TB. Ekblad would be a nice get if the AAV and length of contract are reasonable, but Fabbro and Perbix are more in line with who I expect we'll be able to sign. Almost certainly going to have swing a trade for someone with higher AAV if we want to really make a move on the back end, otherwise I think we'll just get a couple of decent Dmen and call it good.
I would like to see Grier sign Defenseman Ekblad, Fabbro and trade for Calgary D-men Anderson. This would help remake the defense. Signing one of or both of Ehlers and Boeser is necessary. The Sharks should look to spend about 30 million. Using the LTIR for Couture should free up 7.5 million to sign a player(s). Grier needs to build this roster. Look to trade Ferraro May free up Salary to.
Any chance MG tries to package up some of the prospects that have fallen down the depth chart (Bords, Guschin, Cardwell, Coe, maybe even Bystead) with the Dallas first rounder to try and make a trade for a decent roster player?
