  1. How about telling the superstars to start playing like superstars and get damn puck on net! Stop the fancy bullshit and get dirty goals wake up Avs pull your head out of your asses

  2. Avs need to tighten up their play, but this entire series has not been reffed fairly. Dallas has played dirty five games in a row and Avs have been called on every ticky-tack penalty.

  3. AVs lose this series, Beds needs to be gone. 9 years, not past 2nd round POs except once, Cup year. Repeat same coaching, expect different results. 9 years enough? Beds is a very good player development coach. He is not a good game tactician, and he is a miserable game coach able to adjust. He is as rigid as a steel pole. But the org won't change. He'll be there regardless of how poorly his results present. Again.

  4. It's simple. The boys aren't playing playoff hockey, not selling out on defense, not blocking shots, not back checking, turnover after turnover. On paper we should be waiting for Winnepeg or st Louis but something behind the scenes isnt adding up

  5. Everyone screaming from the mountaintops for Bednar to get fired is ridiculous. Sure, on paper the Avs have the better team and should win this series. However, the harsh reality is, Dallas also has a damn good team. It’s not like the Avs are playing a team they should’ve swept. Also, considering what the Avs had to go through this year, plus what Bednar has done and is consistently doing year in, year out means he should STAY with the organization. All of you saying “Fire Bednar” are the ones singing his praises when the Avs are winning game after game. Regroup, focus up, and prepare for Game 6.

  6. I will share my opinion. Fans scream for Bednar to be fired.
The Avs started this season with injuries and a suspension.
The Avs had the worst goalies in the league. I started to think that the Avs would miss the playoffs.
CMACK and Sakic fixed the goalies in January, which Bednar wasnt responsible for. I guess blame Georgie and Justus. Make sure you add the teams play too.
The Avs had a Captain that hasn't played in 3 years. So was leadership the problem in the locker room. I as a fan don't know what goes on in the locker room.
On given nights the Avs have too many passengers.
Bednar isn't responsible for that either.
The power play sucks at time all season.?
Final comment might be hard for a few. I think the coaches have gotten comfortable in their jobs. Once you win a cup maybe the drive to get another isn't important. But it's important to MacKinnon, Makar and Landy. The Avs coaching staff have been around for 8-9 years. Is it time for coaches with vision. If the Penguins can fire Sullivan because they have missed the playoffs maybe Sakic and CMack needs to visit Bednar. He has 2 more seasons left or does he.

  7. if you think bednar should be fired you’re completely clueless. it is NOT the coach’s responsibility to make you want to play good hockey. these are professional athletes, that’s on them.

bednar’s systems and adjustments are top notch when the players on the ice actually follow them. but if you think that the coach is supposed to magically make guys like mackinnon and makar start playing the right way, you’re dead wrong, and it says a lot about how you probably act out in the world as well

  8. Just reading the comments as a neutral hockey fan. Are people really calling for Bednar to be fired?😂😂 Blackwood has one tough one and someone wants to fire the coach? Don't make the Boston mistake

  9. AVS Management gave this team ALL the pieces to win. The PLAYERS squandered it. Sometimes players gotta look in the mirror. People wanna take a knee jerk reaction to "fire the coach!" I really don't think Bednar is the problem here.

  10. The call on Malinski was weak at best. Steel changes direction and Malinskis arm stays down. Penalty in the regular season? Sure? But considering all the dirty headshots, holding and embellishment penalties they let Dallas get away with all game to make that call the minute Colorado gets any momentum is insane.
