  18. Wow, what an excellent response by Giannis. Such a thoughtful and earnest explanation. And the stuff about his dad and humility and worrying about deportation etc., kind of made my eyes tear up.

    As an immigrant to the USA, I completely get what he means. Most immigrants and our parents are taught to be humble and not gloat or self aggrandize under any circumstances. Itā€™s very jarring to see people be OTT in victory and sore winners at that. Our mentality is to always be gracious (sometimes to a fault) if we succeed, get good grades, promotion, etc.
