I like the leafs, they’re my favorite east coast team and I want them to win. That said it would also be funny to see them blow a 3-0 series lead. At least the memes will be good lol
The fact is that they have to win one. The reality is there is more to it than just “to win 1 game” for any team in this position, but especially for a team with a history like Toronto. Everything around is just heightened.
Another brutal loss?
Have they looked at the stats? 0-30 on playoff powerplay goals in series clinching game – something like 1-12 on series clinching games overall. I mean .. now we’re in the odds are not in your favour territory and I’m nervous. They looked horrible last night

They don’t know what they’re talking about. Now is the perfect time to panic, crack people’s heads open and eat the goo inside.
We’re down 3-1, in the middle of a rebuild – getting our asses legitimately handed to us by the Caps and the refs (you know it’s true!) and there’s STILL more optimism about these playoffs in Montreal than Toronto.
I still believe Toronto will win the series.
But… it will have to come next game. If the leafs can’t do it tomorrow night then they will die (in the playoffs).
I have nothing against the Leafs or their fans. But as a fan of the sport (whose team didn’t make the playoffs), I’m all about the entertainment, and it can’t be denied that the most entertaining outcome is for the Leafs to lose the series. I would hope that even Leaf fans could see that’s how neutral fans perceive it. How would that organization respond, what changes would they make? It would be fascinating.
I’m sick of this fucking narrative that the Leafs are beating themselves. Man fuck that. The Sens want it more and that’s what it comes down to. They’re playing better because they’re playing with their hearts, not their heads. GSG!!
