Have Kings run out of gas vs. Oilers?

The Kings opened the scoring, but the Oilers responded with three unanswered goals on Tuesday night to secure the victory. TSN Hockey analyst Frankie Corrado joins SC with Jay Onrait to share his thoughts on whether Los Angeles has run out of gas and if he thinks Edmonton can close things out in Game 6.

  1. Oilers fan, but it's the playoffs, no team is out until they are out. The next game could be determined by one unlucky bounce

  2. What I’m seeing is what happens when the Oiler’s defensemen aren’t a liability in defense. This Oilers team is so high powered on offense that the defensively they just need to be average. Hopefully we get Golden Knights v. oilers in the second round. That matchup is gonna be a track meet

  3. Here are some stats for you. Zack Hyman had 59 Hits (0.9 in average) for the whole season. In the last three wins againsts LA he had 27 hits which is 9.0 in average. That's nuts.

  4. The oilers are getting healthier and that’s the difference. Kanes back Klingbers back both are looking good Bouchard is back Janmark is back Pickard is back and stealing games right now McDavid looks healthy Drai is scoring important goals. There still missing Ekholm but he could be back for round 2 which I’m confident the oilers will move on. The Kings beat the oilers when they were still kinda injured but the teams looking healthy now and that’s the difference.

  5. Oilers vs the Queens plus the referees and still winning this series 3-2 after being down 2-0. I’m not even an Oilers fan necessarily but just watching the brutally lopsided officiating in this series is infuriating to say the least.

  6. The series is over because of 1 play, and 1 play only. Byfield's peewee play with 30 seconds left in game 4. All he had to do, which he had plenty of time to recognize, is get the F**** puck out of the zone. But nope, it was "I'm gonna make a play and get an empty netter". Love the kid, but come on dude, use your friggin' dome.

  7. Not only running low on gas,but the Oilers have gotten better every shift and every game, they haven’t had the luxury of playing this playoff roster for the final month of the season with all of there injuries.
So I expect the Oilers to get better as a team in every series as they go 👊🏽

  8. We don’t win game 6 without a Captain that makes a presence. Do we have that man? 11? Are you here??? Don’t care if it’s NOT your game to lay someone out. That’s what we need. Period.
