All of Thursday night’s playoff action are Game 6’s. Which series will be wrapped up and which are going the distance to that infamous Game 7?

  1. We are excellent at forcing game 7s then losing game 7s, so I’m going with us.

  2. My Leafs will lose in OT, go to Game 7. Then lose in OT. Go Leafs Go!!

  3. I think Vegas and Edmonton will both move on to the second round tomorrow. Edmonton and Vegas seem to be finding their game.

Dallas and Colorado and Ottawa and Toronto, I’m on the fence about.

Dallas played their best game of the series in game 5, and Blackwood really struggled. Was that a fluke, or has Dallas figured something out? If it wasn’t a fluke, then Dallas is winning this series tomorrow. If it was just a fluke and Blackwood gets back on track, then it’s very possible for Colorado to force a game 7.

It would be hilarious to see Ottawa force a game 7. I’m leaning towards them, forcing a game 7 because they definitely seem more confident in Toronto, and the special teams battle has switched in Ottawa’s favor.

  4. Toronto and Ottawa, Colorado and Dallas, LA and Edmonton are going 7. Vegas eliminates Minnesota in 6.

  5. I want to believe the Avs can at least get to game 7 this time. Let’s go ass!

Kings will win just to lose in game 7. (I want to be wrong, but I think I’ve seen this one before.)

Vegas will win and everyone will hate them for it.

I think the Leafs actually get it done. I don’t know why I believe it. I just do.

  6. Dallas/Colorado seems destined to go seven, and I think it’d be the most exciting of these matchups. It’s a total wildcard, you can’t predict whether it’ll be close or a blowout, or whether it’ll be low scoring or a high scoring game.

Minnesota/Vegas also seems really close, personally I felt the Wild had major upset potential going into the series. It’d be cool to see them push the Knights to their limits.

The Leafs will not win a game seven, if they lose on Thursday they lose the series. Which is probably hilarious for other fans, so I’ll rank it slightly higher than the last matchup.

The Oilers seem to have solved the Kings for the fourth time, I honestly think the Oilers do win in six. I think they weathered the storm and could go on a bit of a run here when Ekholm gets back.

  7. Well… in the last 20 years 0-3 series comebacks are more prevalent than Leafs first round wins…. so we know one series that is definitely going to 7

  8. To me, Toronto/Ottawa feels like a must win for both teams (as does Winnipeg/St. Louis but that’s the next day)

Ottawa obviously must win or they’re done and I don’t trust Toronto to win a game 7

  9. I think Vegas sends Fluery to retirement tonight the rest go to 7

  10. Wild chokes and exit

Leafs choke (as is tradition) and game 7 happens

Kings force game 7 in ot

Colorado continues trend of bipolar play and blows out Dallas by 6 goals, forcing game 7

  11. DAL/COL and TOR/OTT both going to 7, others end at 6.

Both Edmonton and Vegas started out their respective series sleepwalking, and now they’re awake. Stars and Avs was always going to be a hotly contested one, and it’s delivering. And Toronto has to take its round one series to 7 games due to an ancient witch’s curse.
