Protecting a 1 run lead late in the game–just bring on every Mets fans nightmare: Ryne Stanek…. ๐
Stanek has been a liability. Why pull a pitcher who just had 3 strong shutout innings?? Tired of the analytics in baseball. Big fan of Mendoza but some of his pitching decisions are baffling.
We didn't even lose in the ninth inning; it was Mendoza's fault and his seemingly endless string of bad decisions. How the hell do you bring in someone who's blown two straight in a close game? How do you let a newcomer from Triple-A pitch the ninth inning with the game trailing by one run, with Dรญaz and Garrett available? Oh my God!
Tune in tomorrow for another thrilling episode of: "Juan Soto Steals Steve Cohen's Money."

I have been a diehard Mets fan for 51 years now and the negativity has got to stop it's a long season and the Mets are just fine say it loud and proud LET'S GO METS!!!!
Can someone please explain to me why Mendoza put in the Triple A dude in the 8th and 9th when we have Kranick, Reed, and Diaz fully rested?
Mendoza needs to start being a coach and move soto to 3 or 4. He needs to change is laid back OBP guy approach, he doesn't have judge or the padres / Dodgers lineup batting behind him. He needs to drive in runs!!
Lineup needs to be lindor acuna/vientos soto alonso nimmo vientos/acuna alvarez and whoever honestly but soto cannot be our 2 hitter
swing and a Miss. LETS GOooo
Kd in the 9th. Ruined it for us
Once again Mendoza subs out a starting pitcher who is doing well
Yaa D-Backs!, we finally won one…๐๐๐
Pitching issues will be ironed out as the season progresses so Letโs Go
Oh boy. Stanekโs future must be under review at this point.
That was a foul ball off Winker's bat… I would have gladly traded in the run to keep the AB alive…
There was no way our alverez was going to hit a walk off….his bat is a liability ….. 0 for 5…consistent 220 hitter
