My absolute best bets for free. With all that being said, ladies and gentlemen, you guys are here for the free play. So, let’s get into this thing. We’ve got the Sacramento Athletics rolling into Miami to play the Marlins. Going to be a very interesting matchup here. Athletics come into this game 17- 15 on the year. They’re third in the AL West. Then you’ve got the Marlins right now 12-8 on the year. They’re fifth in the NL East. Very interesting series here. Miami, the last time these two uh dealt with each other was back in 2024. Miami took that game in a 12-3 final. Meaningless game to say the least. The pitching matchup is what has my eyes caught. So for the athletics, we’ve got JP Sears getting the start. He’s got 33.2 innings of work, a 1.07 whip, 30 strikeouts, six walks, a 4-2 record, and a 2.94 ERA. His strikeout to walk diversification very, very strong. Then on the other hand of the things, you’ve got Max Meyer. This guy is an absolute sleeper beast of a pitcher. 34 innings of work. He’s got a two and three record, but he’s got a 1.21 whip, an incredible 47 strikeouts, 11 walks, and a 3.18 erra. Very, very good stuff out of Max Meers. And this guy strikes out. He attacks the strike zone to say the least. He’s dominant. He’s got very nasty stuff. And when he’s on, he is completely on a strikeout machine. Looking at these numbers right now for these two teams, the Athletics, they’re playing very good baseball right now. They’re seven and three in their last 10 games. Currently rocking a two-game winning streak and playing very good baseball on the road with a record of 11 and six. Meanwhile, you have the Marlins 4-10 at home, 4-6 in their last 10 games, and currently on a five-game losing streak. But going back to Max Meyer, this guy is a very good pitcher. He’s been sensational this season, and I think he could shut down this athletics offense. But with that being said, on top of it, JP Sears, this is the athletics ace, and this guy’s got some very nasty stuff as well. Going back to that 2.94 RA, which is a statement. Last season, he did very similar numbers to what he’s doing right now. I think JP Sears and this athletics team are going to take this game. There’s not tremendous amount of value with it. So, I’m also looking at the totals play here. And I believe this game is going to go over the total. Yes, I’m saying over the total. You look at this matchup immediately. JP Sears with a 2.94 ERA. Then you’ve got Max Meyer with a 3.18 RA. One of these guys is doomed to get shelled and this is going to be a lopsided game in my eyes, but I believe both of these offenses are going to score offensively and I think we’re going to see this game go over the total in this matchup. Current total sitting at 8 and 1/2. Give me the over eight and a half runs in this game. And you could take the Athletics on the run line if you want to. I think the better play here is going with the total play, which is the over eight and a half runs in this matchup.
