  27. I absolutely fucking hate that this was a first round series. These are two of the best teams in the league and they both deserved to make deep runs in the playoffs.

    They may be our rivals, but I’ve always respected the hell out of the Avs. They are such a great team, and I honestly thought that with the horrible stretch the Stars had at the end of the regular season that the Avs would win this one. Refs were atrocious, dumbass calls on both sides, shots were inches from going in/not going in….this series was insane.

    I’m not going to rub the Rantanen trade in anyone’s faces, the Avs had no way of knowing that he’d end up in Dallas. Crazy how the hockey gods work, though.

    Seeing as how we pretty much do this every year with you guys, I can’t wait for the next one.
