JUST IN: The Diamondbacks have revealed their new City Connect uniform š
The Dbacks dropped their new City Connects and we’ve got the details. The jersey pays tribute to the team’s history by bringing back iconic elements from past Diamondbacks jerseys. The pinstripes are reminiscent of the 98 to06 uniforms and the sleeve trim is a modern interpretation of the braiding from the same year’s alternate uniforms. The snakeskin pattern is a nod to the 2016 to 2019 jerseys and the faux sleeve is an ode to the 2001 World Series victory vests. The word mark across the chest carries over from the Dback’s first City Connects, while the bold S logo will make its onfield cap debut. The patch on the sleeve unites the team logo with the Arizona state flag. The jock tag celebrates both the establishment of the team in 1998 and Arizona as the 48th state. Lastly, the motto Arizona Born can be seen on the neckline.
