Pistons 4 and one this season in the Garden now head back to Detroit for game six on Thursday. How impressive is the Pistons getting their second straight win in the Garden to avoid elimination? Super super impressive just because they fighting. They playing against they not just playing against the Knicks. They playing against the Revs, the NBA. What people want to see people want to see New York play next round and they playing they playing against everything. So to go out there and deliver knowing you feel like you got robbed a game and man you got to And how tall is Thomas? He was catching lives like he was a big man just now. Thompson. Yeah. Them [ __ ] was crazy. I mean Thompson. Mhm. The twin. Yeah. The Thompson catching lives like what he listed at. So um I got representing Oaktown. You got to give them respect man. Uh, you know, it could easily 3-2 uh in their favor. In their favor for sure. You know, they ended, you know, they lost a couple games. Monday was up. So, um, they still got confidence. But now that he’s in this position we see there in the playoffs and he feels like he has to carry the load of like always shooting the ball every time down and making a play every time. And I think well four for 16. Yeah. One you got to start affecting the game in other ways as a point guard. two, you’re missing crackdowns, you’re missing closeouts, you’re missing the things that’s breaking our defense down. And it’s like to defer when you not hot is one thing then trying to keep it going and trying to get it going in the course of a game is different. When you got a guy like Cat that’s that’s got it going, you got a guy like Bridges that can’t can get it going. You got to start to think that at some point you got to play decoy. And I think that’s what Gil used to talk about when he was in the playoffs. Somebody called him. It was like Scotty Pippen called him like, “You got to play decoy, bro. You can’t always just go out here and score 30 every time and think you putting your your team in a in a situation to win.” Sometimes that’s the strategy of the other team. Let you score a bunch of [ __ ] and let everybody else not do [ __ ] and we’ll win the game. So, I think he just need to play a little bit more defense. And um it takes away from what that balance is between him and Kade. K go out there play hard. He play on both ends and he ain’t gonna stop until his his team win. Uh Pistons have good reason to believe they should have won game four. Like we talked about, critical no call by the refs, costing the game. Now they return home for game six. Chance to force game seven. Unfortunately, Detroit has lost nine straight home playoff games, tying the six for the worst home losing streak in postseason history, but streaks are made to be broken. How much confidence do you have in Detroit to win game six at home? Riding the momentum of this win, like you said, Swaggy, we’re a janky no call away from potentially winning that game. It’s a completely different series at this point. They’d be coming back home potentially to eliminate the Knicks. But if if and bus were candy and nuts, we do have the extender Scott Foster in the arena representing tough crowd. So when when do the second they put a tough crowd? Everything 27 seconds left in the game though. But the Knicks did make a run. Like I said, Pistons elected to foul up three. Just McBride missed both free throws.
