Diamondbacks City Connect Uniforms Unveiled, Honor Past And Present
They’re real and they’re spectacular. The Arizona Diamondback City Connect uniforms that leaked last Friday are the real deal as the team unveiled them on Monday morning and they had them in the team shop and things were flying off the shelves as fans packed the building to get their hands on the new jerseys and hats. The uniforms feature the classic purple from the team’s early days mixed with the new age teal and have serpientes made popular by the original City Connect uniforms emlazed across the chest. They also feature pinstripes which were a staple in the original uniforms, snake skin which appeared in the mid 2000s and the block A that has been part of every iteration of the team’s look. The best part though, on the inside of the neck of the jersey and the hat, the phrase Arizona born in reference to the team calling the state home since day one is written. They’re the perfect blend of the past and the present
