The St. Louis Blues Force Game 7….RIP JETS
The Winnipeg Jets are getting beaten like a red-headed stepchild. Trust me, I’m telling you from experience. They got destroyed tonight. This was not a great look considering the Jets had the best record in the NHL coming into this playoffs. We’ve seen this collapse happened before. We’re present trophies winners. I can say that from experience as a Bruins fan. But holy crap, we might be on the verge of a massive upset. But before I continue, appreciate you drop a like, comment, and subscribe. It helps out the channel greatly. All right, ebegging over. Broberg would start off the scoring to Thomas Broberg. A block and they score. Look at this push in front of the net trying to blame it like it was the Blues player initiated. Ref said no, it remains a good goal. Got ourselves a one- nothing game. Hella Buck somehow keeps this out. That’d be all the scoring in the first. We get into the second period and the Jets would respond the ice. All of a sudden it’s bearded and he scored. My man just walking down Main Street, but uhoh, Appleton, you can’t be this off sign. So, unfortunately, it remains a one- nothing game. Bennington would make a spectacular stop on Kyle Connor here, but then on the power play, the Jets would finally break through. He’s trying to jam it home. The Jets score. This is some terrific sticking with it and hand eye coordination by Perfetti. We have ourselves a 1-1 game. But those Blues, they’re not done. Near the net, pass in front. They score. Walker buries it from a nice pass from Broberg, who played fantastic tonight. Makes it two to one. Then less than a minute later to Braden one-on-one with P. He scores. That is one Hell Buck would love to have back. Just squeaks through. That’s one the goalie has to have. And the goalcoring bonanza would continue. Pereo the Blues on the attack again. Fowler score. Good shot by Fowler through traffic. That’s a tough one. And the Blues are still not done by moves it. Shopper Tortenko. And there’s another one. Tortenko. Look at him ripping it past Hella Buck. This was a dominant second period for the Blues. We go into the third and the Jets would show a little bit of life here on the power play. Top one and the Jets score. Good point shot. Good falling with a rebound. Just pokes it over the goal line for a goal for Nether Rider. Bennington would have a nice big time stop. Look at that right pad save on Valardi. Blues win this game 5 to2. The Jets have themselves in a precarious situation. They’re going to be going into game seven and they’ll be at home. So, they’ll have the crowd to pump them up and get them really juiced up for this one. I would say the worrying part to me about this loss in game six, if it was close, we could have a completely different feel to it. But the Blues really put the pedal to the metal in that second and they were just the far better team. Mind you, Blues do need to be a little bit better on the faceoff. But all things considered, we might see a massive upset here and another wildly disappointing playoff run from the Jets. The Jets have had a great year. But if they end up getting bounced in the first round, it’s all for not. And you might have to look at dealing some core pieces because if they can’t win now with this core, when will they? Let me know your thoughts down below in the comments section. Who impressed you the most in this game? Got the P. See you the next one.
The St Louis Blues beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-2 in Game 6 to force a Game 7. The Blues had a terrific 2nd Period which helped propel them to victory. This brings the Winnipeg Jets to the verge of another disappointing postseason performance. Who you got winning in Game 7?

This Montgomery guy seems like a pretty good coach for St Louis, you think the Bruins should try poaching him at some point?
Hellebuyck is literally the western conference Ullmark
Playoff Hellebyuck lifting his head way too much, seems to be that he isnt used to such an pressure, guys whacking in those 2nd, 3rd even 4th chanses in.
What a crazy series
Jets are playing with too much fire here. Hellebuyck looks NOTHING like he should, Idk if he could handle the offense Dallas or Colorado could throw at him. And that Jets offense has looked more like the New York Jets offense than the best team in hockey this season.
Now, home ice advantage has been critical this series, so I think that the Jets have the Game 7 advantage, but they're forgetting that they have the President's Trophy Curse effect (Boston and Jim Montgomery are all too familiar with it). Blues have an uphill battle imo, but not a steep one if its like THIS!
It's not over, I think Jets will win in game 7, I am betting my money on it.
LET'S GO BLUES!!!!
All the pressure is on the Jets. And the better goaltender is playing for the Blues.
I remember when Steve dangle talked shiz on the blues 4th line… " what you gonna do put on the 4th line with guys like alexi torpichanko!?" he's a gladiator out there has a lot of that prime Oscar sundqisdt looks about him, pre acl damage.
the team looks pretty good and our young guns are about to start coming online.
I can't believe Edmonton let Broberg and Holloway go for draft picks. That's going to haunt them
Blues likely advance, or they could suck and lose, like they have every other Jets Home Game, then no one will care how badly they destroyed Winnipeg at home. I like their chances, but We'll have to see.
The Blues scare me, that's all I need to say.
Home team has won every single game in this series, thats good for the Jets, although I am rooting for the Blues in this series.
Blues fan here, here's how I'm feeling about game 7. I'm not confident at all.
Winnipeg will have their full lineup for the first time the entire series.
The Blues have seemingly imploded at the ~30 minute mark in every game in Winnipeg so far.
Jordan Binnington has not won in Winnipeg since November 9th, 2021 in a shootout.
This is going to be interesting game for sure but in the end I think Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele will offset Hellebuyck's woes and win this game with big performances.
Update: Scheifele will not play, but Kyle Connor will still be a force without Scheifele.
The Blues in the 7th game.
I think the biggest concern for the jets is that the Blues have been a hell of a lot closer to winning a road game than the jets. All games in Winnipeg except for one have been competitive. And you can make the case that binnington was the better goalie in every game except for one game from a statistical standpoint. In the games the jets won they needed an elite defensive performance with almost no shots on Hellybuck. Binnington has been the best Goaltender in the playoffs thus far in my opinion.
I'm not sure how massive of an upset it would be though. Since the 4 nations break, the blues are the best team in the league. Their pp is better than the Jets, their pk is better than the Jets, their goals per game is #1. That's why this series is going 7
The Blues are going to have to find some kind of extra energy to beat the Jets on their home ice. My the force be with them. Let's Go Blues.
Look yall it ain’t over till it’s over
LET’S GO BLUES!!!
If anyone can win it’s Winnipeg.
Jets coach is the biggest crybaby in his post game interviews. The whipping they are taking (according to him) is because of refs and blues playing dirty. Doesn’t give any credit to Blues.
LETS GO BLUES!!!!!
All the energy around the Jets seems negative and forced. The frustration is very evident on coach face and players attitude. It seems like they are desti😢to lose badly. Scheiffle won’t play game means he is either not all that motivated or very very injured.
Blues are gonna be fired up tonight. Go Blues..
Eat these words it’s going to ot game 7
Here after STL Blues pulled the biggest Choke Job I ever seen in the NHL 😀
Rip at Louis 😂
More like RIP Blues…
GET POOPED ON BUDDY!!!!!!
LOL. LOL. LOL.
