Jordan Kyrou Discusses St. Louis Blues Potential, Builds NHL Mt. Rushmore & NHL Dream Line

Yeah. All right, Jordan. So, I just got to ask you just growing up, who was some of your favorite hockey players? Um, I think for me, I’d say Pavlo Datasuk. He was always uh when I was a little kid, you know, everyone’s watching him and you know, the skill of stuff he would do is unbelievable. So, I’d say him. I love it. I love it. So, if I was a novice, never watched hockey before, and I said, “You know what? I need you to put four forwards on the Mount Rushmore.” Yeah. On your Mount Rushmore, who would you tell me those four would be? Uh, um, I’ll probably say, can it be guys from the past, too? Doesn’t matter. past and present. You can mix it all together. I’d probably say Po Dadsuk, um, Conor McDavid, Nathan McKinnon, and Sydney Crosby. I like that. I like that. I like that. So, with that being said, then I said, “Hey, you know what? Build a line. You’re on the line. I need two two of the wingers, and I need two defenseman and goalie. How does that look?” Okay. So, I’d go I’d take Mck McDavid, my centerman, play McKinnon left wing, or maybe even Datuk left wing or Datuk center. It doesn’t matter either. Doesn’t matter. Whoever. Um, defense, I’d probably take Bobby or and Kale Mar or Scotty P. I’ll take Scotty P. Yeah, I said Scotty P. It’s on my line. Build his perfect line. You’re on this perfect line. On my perfect vibe and your goalie. Your goalie. Goalie banner. There you go. I like that. I like that. I like that. I like that. So, this Blues team, um, mixture of youth and vets. Um, what do you see in the potential team? I think I like the mixture. Got the best and you got the young guys. How you looking at this team going forward? Yeah, I think we’ve got a lot of uh pretty good mix here. I mean, we got a lot of f a lot of fast young skilled players and, you know, we got a lot of, you know, older great bats, you know, great players. So, I think we gel well together and, you know, I find that, you know, we really started to come together as a team these last, you know, six, seven games. Love it. Last question. Um, EA NHL the video game. I remember me growing up in NHL 94 meant the world to me. uh couldn’t create any players on there, but it was cool just to play it to see yourself on a video game. What do you think about that? Yeah, I mean it’s pretty cool. Obviously uh I mean growing up I used to play that a lot as well. You know, I remember when I was younger I’d play 08 and you know always play as like maybe the Kings or you know Blackhawks or just you know those big teams like that.
